A leading Am Law 200 law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate/Leasing Transactional Associate to join its Real Estate + Development practice group, based in its Stamford, Hartford, or New York office. The practice group regularly represents buyers, sellers, lenders, owners, landlords, and tenants across all classes of commercial real estate assets.

The associate will handle a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including commercial leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and financing. Work will center on drafting and negotiating leases, lease amendments, assignments, subleases, letters of intent, and related leasing documents on behalf of both landlords and tenants, along with reviewing and analyzing complex real estate agreements.

The firm is looking for a candidate with five to seven years of relevant transactional experience, strong academic and transactional credentials, and excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills, along with the ability to work well as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team. Candidates must be admitted to practice in the state of their primary office location.

The target base salary range for this role is $210,000 to $227,500, based on the individual’s experience, class year, skills, and qualifications.
